JSWECE currently has the following core full time faculty on its roles. The faculty are highly qualified and experienced to handle all the training and certificate courses of the institute. Besides the core faculty, over 25 experts from power plants at JSW Energy's Vijayanagar works visit the Institute regularly as guest faculty. Apart from experts from Vijayanagar plants, JSWECE is supported by plant experts in power plants at other locations of JSW Energy through virtual classroom facility of the Institute.

JSWECE has empanelled over 15 highly experienced power plant professionals from across the country for handling specialized courses at the Institute.

Mr. Ramesh Babu K.
Manager and Incharge - Academics
Mr. Ramesh Babu pursued his B.E in E & CE and M Tech. in BME from MIT Manipal. He has over 15 years of teaching experience in areas such as Process Instrumentation & Control, Electronic Instrumentation, and Communication Engineering. Prior to joining JSWECE, he was Assistant Professor & HOD, Department of Instrumentation Technology, Rao Bahadur Y Mahabaleshwarappa Engg(Vijaynagar Engineering College). College, Bellary. He currently teaches Instrumentation & Control topics related to Thermal Power Plant. His academic and research interests include Process control, DCS and Industrial Automation.

Mr. Apparao Patil
Manager - Simulator & Training
Mr. Patil holds B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and PG Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering from NPTI and has over 8 years of experience in power plants. Mr. Patil has a rich experience in Erection, Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance of various power plants. Prior to joining JSWECE, Mr. Patil was with Toshiba in one of its projects at Egypt. Mr. Patil teaches power plant topics other than Power Plant Operations on 300 MW Thermal Power Plant Simulator at JSWECE.

Mr. Mahalinga Swamy
Dy. Manager
Mr. Swamy holds Master of Technology in Computer Science Engineering and M.S. in Electronics & Control. Mr. Swamy has over 17 years of experience in various academic institutes. Prior to joining JSWECE, Mr. Swamy was associated with Ballari Institute of Technology & Management, Bellary as Assistant Professor. Mr. Swamy is the resource person for Electrical topics related to power plants.

Mr. Prashanth Kumar C.
Asst. Manager
Mr. Prashanth kumar has done his B E in Mechanical Engineering & Post Graduate Diploma in Thermal Power Plant Engineering from NPTI. He has over 8 years of Industrial experience in Operation & Maintenance of power plants. He teaches topics related to Mechanical in Thermal Power Plant including power plant operations and simulator training. His academic and research interests include in Boiler & Turbine areas.

For the collaborative Post Graduate Diploma, distinguished faculty from Department of Mechanical Engineering, MSRIT take sessions on a regular basis at JSWECE.

JSWECE also conducts various training sessions from other professional organizations/institutes and working professionals for training sessions on specific topics.
